Truck Movement in Currie Area Next Week
As the community is aware, there was a structure fire on George St, Currie last week. The building involved in the fire will be demolished next week (beginning Monday 23 October). All approvals are in place and all regulations will be followed by the qualified contractors carrying out the work. Advice to the community is that there will be a lot of truck movement between the site on George Street and the Charles St Waste Transfer Station.
Where possible, we are asking that you avoid the area. Parents and caregivers are asked to take extra care with school children, and all community members, truck drivers, and motorists are asked to observe any instructions given by the team on site.
