The King Island Council would like to thank everyone who was involved in Wednesday’s Airport Emergency Practical Exercise.
To the volunteer casualties, role players, our local emergency services, SES, Tas Fire, Volunteer Ambulance Service and our local Police we commend you on your expertise and professionalism.
The exercise provided an opportunity for all emergency services to practice and enact their relevant plans and to evaluate any changes that need to be addressed. All emergency services were representant by visiting staff who assisted in the evaluation and observation process. Their guidance will be invaluable going forward.
We also thank the Lions Club for their support by looking after all the volunteers with a well earnt BBQ at the conclusion of the exercise.
