Council would like to express their thanks to the Main Street businesses and the community with their cooperation and patience during the felling of the Norfolk Pine tree over the weekend.
Special thanks is also given to our Council works team and certified arborist contractor, HST for completing the task in a safe and controlled manner.
We are pleased to report that it was not deemed necessary to undertake any further felling of the neighboring pines.
The photo below clearly shows the disease that was affecting the tree removed.
