Borders will remain open to the supplies we need
In his address this morning about tighter border controls, Premier Peter Gutwein said “I want to be clear to all Tasmanians, we are not going to shut the borders to those supplies that we need.”
“I expect, more opportunity to carry more freight into the state as a result of the fact that there will be, I expect, less people travelling.” he said.
Both Foodworks and IGA have supplies arriving daily/weekly, and if we all consider our neighbours and keep what supplies we have on island there will be enough for everyone.
