Purchasing systems review

As part of our continuing drive for operational efficiencies and the management of systems and processes, Council has reviewed the way it buys goods and services. This has led to the development of a suite of documents, including templates and standard contract terms.

To ensure our purchasing processes continue to be transparent and to further improve efficiency, Council has also signed up with TenderLink, an online purchasing portal. This system will be used for public tenders issued from 1 January 2019 and requests for quote as required.

Current and potential suppliers who want to get a preview of the TenderLink system and an introduction to Council’s new suite of procurement documents are invited to a free training workshop.  Spaces are limited, so please contact Helen Thomas to book your seat, indicating your preferred time:

  • Thursday 6 December, 4:00pm – 5:30pm
  • Thursday 6 December, 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Both sessions will be held in the Council Chambers with tea and coffee provided.
