Planning Scheme Amendment – Bushfire
Council at its last meeting approved for public exhibition: Planning Scheme Amendment 02-2020 – Bushfire-Prone Areas Overlay Maps.
The proposed amendment is to include the bushfire-prone areas overlay in the King Island Interim Planning Scheme 2013.
The key function of the overlay is to spatially define areas that are considered ‘bushfire prone’ for planning and building compliance purposes.
Representations are to be made in writing to the General Manager by 4:30pm, Friday 28 February 2020.
