Norfolk pine tree removal – Main Street Currie

Council has obtained qualified advice by a certified Arborist who has undertaken an inspection of the Norfolk Pine Trees in the Main Street of Currie.  Advice confirms that one of the trees is dying from a rare disease and needs to be removed.

External experts have been engaged to undertake the removal of the tree which will be undertaken over the weekend of Saturday 1 October and Sunday 2 October 2022.

Sections of the Main Street will be closed during 7:00am and 5:00pm on both days.  Traffic Management staff will be on site during this time, we ask that for your safety you adhere to their directions.

During the removal of the tree, neighbouring trees will be assessed and if deemed necessary will also be removed.
