King Island Airport Board EOI

Invitation for expressions of Interest from persons with aviation and/or airport experience

The King Island Council has agreed to establish a 4-member Board of Management to oversee the operation and the future development of the King Island Airport.  A copy of the Council report and decision is available in the Minutes of Council’s meeting held on 15 October 2019.

The Board will comprise the Mayor, a Councillor, a technical airport specialist and a person with aviation/airport experience.  The Board is expected to meet monthly at the Airport. The Airport Manager and airport staff will report to the Board.

Expressions of interest are invited from persons with aviation and/or airport experience relevant to King Island.  This is a voluntary position.

Expressions of interest are to be made in writing; addressed to the Mayor and marked ‘Confidential’; and can be emailed to cr.jarnold@kingisland.tas.gov.au or posted to PO 147, Currie, Tas 7256.

Expressions of interest are to be received by no later than close of business on 11 November 2019.
