Have your Say – On-Street Dining Policy
Al fresco for King Island?
Would you like to see al fresco dining allowed on King Island’s streets?
After being asked recently if it was allowed, King Island Council found it didn’t have a policy to cover what is and is not allowed for on-street dining.
A policy has now been drafted to provide guidelines on managing tables and chairs on footpaths.
The policy covers issues such as; $20million insurance indemnity, signage, umbrellas, table and chair placement.
If you would like to learn more about the draft “On-Street Dining Policy” and have your say, you are invited to visit the King Island Council stand at this weekend’s POKI market in the town hall.
Where: POKI market, King Island Town Hall
When: Saturday 11th December at 10.00am – 12.30pm
