Draft Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy
The Draft Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy 2022-2025 has now been released for public consultation with feedback to be submitted to the Waste & Resource Recovery Board by Friday 24 February 2023. Further information, including a copy of the draft strategy and details of how to make a submission directly to Government, can be downloaded from the Waste & Resource Recovery Board’s website, wrr.tas.gov.au/planning-and-reporting/waste-strategy.
King Island residents, businesses and other stakeholders are also invited to inform Council’s submission to government by providing comment through our Have Your Say webpage. To enable these to be collated and considered in Council’s response, comments should be submitted by 5pm on Wednesday 8 February 2023.
