Distribution of Rapid Antigen Tests on King Island
Public Health have partnered with King Island SES, Ambulance and Fire volunteers to continue distribution of Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) on King Island this week.
A maximum of two tests per person will be available for household use. Masks must be worn when collecting RATs to ensure the safety of volunteers and residents. These can be collected at the following times and locations:
Thursday 13 January
King Island Racecourse, Currie – 2pm to 5pm
Friday 14 January
King Island Racecourse, Currie – 2pm to 5pm
Saturday 15 January
Outside Grassy Club, Grassy – 11am to 12pm
Opposite Baudins, The Esplanade, Naracoopa – 11am to 12pm
Public Health have also produced a leaflet advising what to do if you or a close contact tests positive for COVID-19. This includes information on how to access services such as groceries, mail and medication during your isolation. This will be distributed to every Post Office Box and roadside mail box this week and can also be downloaded here:
