Deputy Mayor Luke Agati resigns
Luke Agati yesterday advised Mayor Julie Arnold of his resignation from both the position of Deputy Mayor and Councillor, effective immediately.
Luke’s resignation follows a period of ill health and encompasses his position as chair of the Special Committee of Council tasked with organising the Cataraqui 175th Commemoration.
Sincere thanks are extended to Luke from the Mayor and Councillors for his service to Council since November 2018.
The Tasmanian Electoral Commission has been advised, with a recount to be conducted. Further information for which will be provided as it is available.
