COVID-19 vaccination community clinic

COVID vaccinations are now available for all residents of King Island.

A community vaccination clinic for King Island residents aged 16 to 49 and frontline and emergency services workers is scheduled for Monday 24 to Friday 28 May. First doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the King Island District Hospital between 9am and 4pm each day, with the aim to deliver around 140 doses each day.  A further visit is planned for June to deliver the second dose.

Bookings are preferred but walk-ins are accepted. Call the Tasmanian Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 to book an appointment at a specific time.

For King Island residents aged 50+, Ochre Health are running regular clinics at the Town Hall administering the AstraZeneca vaccine, the recommended vaccine for over-50s. Call the Ochre Health team on 03 6462 0200 to book an appointment.

Please note, the online booking system on this site does not apply for King Island, you need to call either Public Health or Ochre Health to make an appointment or walk-in on the day.
