Airport Café and Retail Space Lease
King Island Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from appropriately skilled, motivated, and experienced individuals or businesses to lease space at the King Island Airport Terminal.
Council is interested in registrants who have ideas or proposals on how food, beverage and retail services could be operated effectively, in a sometimes busy and time limited environment. The Airport is expecting in excess of 40,000 passenger movements this year including standard RPT services and charter flights.
All registrants must complete and submit the EOI Registration Form which is available here or can be collected from the King Island Council Office, to be considered in the Expression of Interest process.
An example of possible layout for the Airport space is available here or at the King Island Council Office. Inspections of the space are welcomed and can be arranged by contacting the Acting Airport Manager, Jaiden Rainbow on 03 6462 1499.
Expression of Interest Registration Forms are to be addressed to the Acting Airport Manager, marked “Confidential” and received by close of business on Wednesday 13th April 2023.

Registration Forms will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Council will review all received Expressions of Interest and will invite shortlisted candidates to attend a final interview, with the intent to negotiate a lease with the preferred candidate.
